WRONG!!
You cannot reflect heat! You can only reflect heat radiation - which is like light and is the sort of heat that we "feel" coming from fires and the Sun. However...when you iron clothes the heat is not transmitted by RADIATION, but
by CONDUCTION. The metal ironing board heats up with the clothes. If anything I should think that a metallised ironing board cover would conduct heat away!
