OK, you may think this is REALLY pedantic but.....
Black absorbs heat RADIATION better than white or silver.
heat is transferred by convection, conduction and radiation...it's only the radiation which is absorbed by black colour! Sigh though
you may..if you forget to put "radiation" in an explanation in an exam..you will lose a mark!
