THE SUN GOES ROUND THE EARTH ONCE A DAY
WRONG!!

Well it SEEMS to, but it doesn't.
The Earth orbits the Sun and it takes ONE YEAR for a whole orbit.
The Moon orbits the Earth and it takes 28 days for one orbit
the Earth spins on its axis and it takes ONE DAY for one spin
It is the spinning of the Earth which makes the Sun seem to move through the sky (and the stars/planets/Moon)
As the Moon is orbiting the Earth each night, if you look at the Moon at the same time, you will see it in a different position in the sky, but back to the same position in 28 days time.
